This Site
Pathfinder Fan is here to help promote Pathfinder Society play in the Sacramento area. This site was designed so that there was one place that players and gamemasters could go to see what gaming is available for PFS in Sacramento.

Playing a Game
If you’re interested in seeing what games are available, look at the calendar or games listing on the right (or go to the Games Calendar page). Each game’s page has information on who is running the game, where it is being run, how to sign up for the game, a synopsis of the game, and for games being run at a public location a Google widget that will give you directions and a map when you enter in a starting address! For more information, go to the ‘Join a PFS Game!’ link to the right.

Posting a Game
If you’re interested in posting a game that you are going to run, I’d love to post it on Pathfinder Fan, as well as set it up in PFS. Just go to the ‘Run a PFS Game!’ page in the column to the right to find out what information you need to email me.

About Me
My name is Brent Holtsberry, and I love roleplaying games. They promote teamwork, problem solving, creativity, and imagination. Roleplaying games also help develop math, reading, and communication skills in a fun, non-threatening environment.

I have been playing roleplaying games for over 30 years. I started playing Dungeons and Dragons using the blue book from the boxed set that came out before the red box set (Yes, I am an old, old man. 🙂 )

I’ve played (and obsessed over) the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3.5, and 4th editions of D&D. I’ve also played many other rpgs over the years including Star Frontiers, Gamma World, Call of Cthulu, Chill, Shadowrun and the old Middle Earth rpg from Ice Crown Enterprises.

I have just recently started playing Pathfinder and am loving it.

Aside from the Pathfinder Society games I run, I am involved in two 3.5 home games, and am starting a couple of Pathfinder adventure paths.

Contact Me
As the Venture-Lieutenant of Sacramento, I would be happy to answer any questions you may have about what’s going on in the Pathfinder Society in Sacramento. Have Fun, and Happy Hunting!

Privacy Policy
Here at Pathfinderfan.com we take privacy very seriously. Information collected on this site is only used to allow users to comment in the sections of the site that have comment areas attached to them.

We only share this information with people directly working on this web site, and even then, only with people who need to use it for verification purposes. The thought that information such as this could be sold to others concerns us as much as it probably does you, and we would never do so.

Please be aware that anything posted in comments are available for the public to view. Please don’t post anything that  you wouldn’t want everyone who has access to this site to see.

Lastly, there are links on this site that lead to other websites. Pathfinderfan.com is not responsible for information collected or used at other websites and highly recommends that you review the Privacy Policy on any site you visit before submitting any information to them.

Comment Policy
While adventures in the Pathfinder game sometimes explore mature themes (which is fine), at Pathfinderfan.com we believe that the roleplaying game community benefits from allowing all ages access to rpgs. As such, we not only allow, but encourage readers of all ages to enjoy the content this site has to offer.

In that spirit we kindly ask that you keep in mind that we allow everyone access to this site, and to please word your comments accordingly. We do reserve the right to remove comments that we would feel uncomfortable sharing with that awesome eight year old kid at Dundracon that was dancing around because he was able to buy his character a Wand of Scorching Ray.

I have the system set up so that if you are a first time commenter, you have to be approved before the post shows. Once you’ve had a comment approved, you should be free to comment away to your hearts content.

I get a TON of comments from spam-bots, and if I didn’t have a filter, the site would quickly become an abomination. The down side is that I don’t check for comment approval on a regular basis. I usually do it whenever I need to update the site.

So, if you have a comment you’ve posted, and you need it displayed in a timely manner, please contact me using the email address on the Contact Us page, and I’ll get it approved much more quickly.
